§ 1 Information about the collection of personal data

(1) The following information is about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data are all data which can be related to you, e.g. name, address, email addresses, user behavior (see also imprint on our website under https://www.grip-legal.de/imprint.)

(2) Responsible according to article 4, paragraph 7 EU-data protection-basic regulation (DS-GVO) is:

(3) When you make contact with us by email or by using our contact form, the data you send us (your email address and perhaps your name and telephone number) are stored by us, so we can answer your questions. Data we receive in this way are deleted when storage is no longer required, or we restrict processing of them if there are statutory storage obligations.

(4) In cases where we commission service providers for individual functions of our consulting package, or where we would like to use your data for promotional purposes, we will give you detailed information of the circumstances. And we specify the stipulated criteria for periods of storage.

§ 2 Your rights

(1) You have the following rights vis-à-vis our law firm with regard to personal data referring to you:
– Right to information,
– Right to correction or deletion,
– Right to restrict processing,
– Right to object to processing,
– Right to data portability.

(2) You also have the right to complain to a data protection regulatory authority about the processing of your personal data by us.

(3) As far as you have provided us with your approval concerning the processing of your personal data, you can revoke your approval at any time. However, legitimacy of the processing executed until the time of your revocation remains unaffected thereby.

§ 3 Collection of personal data while visiting our website

(1) If you use our website purely for informative purposes, i.e. if you do not register or transmit information to us in another way, we only collect the personal data your browser transmits to our server. If you want to inspect our website, we collect the following data which are a technical requirement for us to be able to show you our website and guarantee stability and security in the process (legal basis is art. 6 para 1 S. 1 lit. f DS-GVO):

– date and time of enquiry,
– time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT),
– content of request (concrete page),
– access status/HTTP status code,
– resp. volume of data transmitted,
– website from which the request comes,
– browser,
– operating system and its interface,
– language and version of browser software.

(2) In addition to the data mentioned before when using our website, cookies are stored in your computer. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your hard disk, directed to the browser you are using and through which certain information flows to the party which set the cookie (in this case us). Cookies cannot run programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make the internet overall more user-friendly and more effective.
(3) The use of cookies:

a) This website uses inter alia so-called transient cookies. Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. They include session cookies in particular which store a so-called session ID with which different enquiries of your browser can be allocated to the common session. This enables your computer to be recognized when you return to our website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them.

b) You can configure your browser setting according to your wishes and e.g. reject third-party cookies or all cookies. However, we would like to point out that you might not be able to use all functions of this website.
